Meaghan + lee

Pensacola, FL

Meaghan and Lee’s sunset session at Pensacola Beach was everything. It was super windy (like hold-onto-your-hat kind of windy), but honestly, it just added to the fun. The soft white sand, rolling waves, and the sky putting on a show made for the perfect backdrop. These two were such a joy to be around—funny, laid-back, and totally in sync with each other. They made my job so easy because everything was so  natural for them. We laughed a ton, embraced the chaos of the wind, and ended the evening with some great photos and good memories.

Newborn + McWhorter Family

Newborn sessions are always a sweet kind of chaos, and this one was no different. This little guy—brand new and already full of personality—was not a fan of being the center of attention. He made it very clear that all he really wanted was his mama and absolutely drew the line at being naked (honestly, same, kid). But even with the wiggles and protests, we captured some precious moments. He was so, so loved—completely adored by his mom and dad, and already looked up to by his proud big brother. Being welcomed into their home for such a special season was a gift, and I found myself feeling extra sentimental being around a newborn again (my own babies are teenagers now!). The whole vibe was relaxed, real, and full of love—and that’s exactly the kind of magic I love to photograph.

Alaina + Wayne

Estill Springs, TN

While I was back in Tennessee, I got to shoot one of the most fun anniversary sessions with my sweet friend Alaina and her husband Wayne—out at Granddaddy’s Farm in Estill Springs. And y’all… it did not disappoint.

Golden sunset? ✔️

Rolling fields? ✔️

Two people completely into each other? ✔️✔️

These two brought the love, the laughs, and a little bit of spice (the chemistry was strong with these two 😆).

It's some kind of special to be in Tennessee, out in the country, taking photos of lifelong friends. It was a good day.

Daphne, AL

🌞 Sunshine + Spanish Moss

Bayfront Park in Daphne showed off big time for this session—gorgeous weather, golden light, and that dreamy Spanish moss hanging in the trees! It’s such a beautiful spot for family photos, and this crew made it even better!

We had so much fun capturing smiles, silly moments, and sweet connections across the generations. Grandparents, grandkids, and lots of laughter—it was the perfect mix.

This session was full of laughter, a little chaos (the best kind!), and so many moments I hope they’ll love looking back on.

Taylor + Jordan

Mobile, AL

Taylor and Jordan and their two littles were so much fun! Such a beautiful family and sweet sweet babies. His adorable little glasses kept slipping down his name and he'd give a look over the top, SO CUTE! And look at baby girl, that sweet smile and chubby cheeks. Love it!

I took their photos in the beautiful Mobile, AL at Spring Hill College. If you've never been, definitely a must! So pretty! Perfect weather, flowers starting to bloom, perfect day!

Lyles + Thompson

Fairhope Pier, AL

The Lyles Family--Laughter, LOVE, and a sneaky little proposal!

Some people come into your life and just stay.. like seriously, move on already! (kidding kidding!) Through moves, ministry, major life milestones.. The Lyles are those people. Bobby, Trina, Robert, and Jessica... they're not just long-time friends, they're family now. We've somehow lived in three different states together and served in the same churches each time--without even trying! Clearly, God's been keeping us close on purpose--and we're so thankful!

We planned this outdoor session at the beautiful Fairhope Pier with the perfect surprise proposal at the end. I was a nervous sweaty wreck about to explode trying to keep the secret! Max (Jessica's now-fiancé!), Trina, and I had it all planned out... and then--a full-on downpour. But just like God does, the skies cleared just in time, and everything turned out even more beautiful than we imagined.

This crew is always full of laughs (seriously, they make my job way too easy), and being there to capture it all. Priceless.

Now I get to photograph both of their kids' weddings, and I'm over here crying happy tears and feeling so honored.

Lyles fam--you're stuck with us forever, and I personally wouldn't have it any other way. :)

ELLA + HOCO

✨ Homecoming Vibes ✨

There’s something so fun about photographing teens headed to HOCO—dressed to the nines, full of nerves and giggles, and ready to make memories.

This sweet group brought all the energy, laughter, and just the right amount of awkward. 😄 Between the sharp suits, sparkly dresses, and those classic “what do I do with my hands?” poses, I had a blast capturing every bit of it.

We got those must-have portraits, a few silly moments, and a whole lot of joy. I love freezing these little milestones—because years from now, these will be the photos they pull out and say, “Remember this night?!”
